The preschool years are often marked by large increases in creativity and self-expression.
Getting your child ready for kindergarten is about more than just practicing letters and numbers.
After School for Kids Learning Campus is a dynamic and engaging educational platform designed to foster holistic development in children beyond the regular school hours.
Our daycare center in Houston offers a variety of programs for children of different ages, from infants to preschoolers. We design each program carefully to meet the developmental milestones and learning needs of each age group.
Infants Program We start our infants program by creating a secure and soothing atmosphere. Our staff gives babies plenty of individual attention, building a strong foundation of trust and security. Moreover, we engage them in gentle play and basic activities that stimulate their senses and support early cognitive and physical development.
Toddlers Program As children become toddlers, we adapt our program to their increased mobility and curiosity. We introduce more interactive activities such as simple arts and crafts, basic counting, and story time. These activities not only keep them engaged but also promote early language and math skills. Additionally, we include outdoor play as a major part of their day, which helps toddlers develop their motor skills and encourages them to interact with peers.
Preschool Program As children advance to our preschool program, it becomes more structured to prepare them for kindergarten. We focus on enhancing their academic skills through fun and educational activities. For example, they engage in more complex arts and crafts, simple science experiments, and group projects. These activities are excellent for fostering creativity and critical thinking. Furthermore, we involve children in role-playing games and team sports, which teach them about teamwork and cooperation.
